Martino Honored with Discovery Award

Nationally renowned music critic and historian Robert Oermann recently reviewed Matt Martino's debut release "Let it Shine" for Music Row Publications:

Recorded in East Nashville, Martino's Let It Shine CD is a celebration of pop classicism. Beautifully melodic tunes like this track, Naturally, scamper into your heart and charm your brain. This showcases his honest, unforced singing with tinges of R&B, gospel, and jazz around the edges. Elsewhere, we get tastes of his skills as a pianist and saxophone player. The CD release party will be at BB Kings on July 28th. Be there or be square.

In addition to the glowing review, Music Row Publications also presented Martino with the Discovery Award, an honor given to Nashville's most noteworthy up-and-coming artist.
